Rovering in Ireland is still growing and is a very promising section. Next year will be a big one for the Rover Section and we are going to need a bit of help to make it successful. We have lots planned including the celebration of 100 years of Rovering!

Whether you’d like to just voice your opinion, share your ideas for a blog post or want to run a national event, we’d like to get you involved.

Here’s how:

  1. Fill out the the form and complete your Belbin Test. You will receive your results to the email you provide.
  2. You will then be part of a Crew of other interested Rovers from around the country. We can then form Project Teams from the Crew to work on tasks or take on the running of events.

Closing date for the first round of applications in Sunday 10th of December

This way you can choose what project/activity you want to get involved in, what ever suits you, and you don’t have to commit to any term. You can just do one project or you can get involved in loads of projects. Throw in some Plan-Do-Review and we’ve got ourselves a darn good Rover Crew.

Given that Rovers is for Rovers by Rovers, let’s get stuck in, grow Rovering and start our own Rover Revolution.

If you have question, please don’t hesitate to contact me on Roverscouts@scouts.ie. Share with anyone you think might be interested in getting involved.
